4 Weeks Before Moving

Gather or buy moving supplies such as boxes, tape, string, etc. |

Give your new mailing address to the Postal Office and also ask for re-direction of mail to your new address. |

|
|
Give your mailers (subscription services such as magazine company's) your new address. |
| |
|
|
Dont forget to notify all your family and friends of your new address. |
| |
|
|
Notify your Bank, Insurance company, and important companies of your new address. |
| |
|
|
Inform your Doctors and Dentists of your new address. |
| |
|
|
Sort out your items which you need to take and the ones which you need to throw away. |
2 Weeks Before Moving
|
Inform your Electrical, Gas, Water, Telephone and Services companies of your move and Transfer of account. |
| |
|
|
Start packing your items, label and sort the items in groups so it is easy to find. Label the boxes. |
| |
|
|
Get ready to move in 2 weeks time. |
|
|

Make sure you do the following:

Make a list of the main items in each box and number each box. |
| |
|
|
Label each box with the room name or number which the box should be delivered to. |

|
Mark "Fragile" on boxes which contain fragile items. |
